Master’s in heritage and communication

The master’s in heritage and communication is a postgraduate course that has been taught at the university of burgos since 2011, making it a qualification that is now firmly established and official and one that has passed several quality agency assessments. When it comes to heritage, in all its diverse manifestations, we all too often talk about conservation, restoration or management, but there is another fundamental side that was for a long time calling for specific training in spain: knowing how to disseminate or communicate that legacy. The university of burgos’ master’s in heritage and communication was created to cover this need. Its aim is to train specialists in heritage communication, giving them the skills both for professional exercise outside the academic world as well as to do a doctorate in the case of those who wish to continue their research or teaching career in the field of humanities and communication.
